Two Ingredients? That's it!? Yup, just a little heavy whipping cream and sweet condensed milk! I wasn't the first one to discover this easy peasy ice-cream base recipe but I was able to come up with three different flavors that everyone will love! Scroll down to learn how to make these for your at home sundae night.
All you need for this ice-cream base is 2 cups of heavy whipping cream and 14 oz. of cold sweetened condensed milk. First, beat the heavy whipping cream until you form soft peaks as shown in the picture above. Slowly add your cold sweetened condensed milk and whip that until well combined. Evenly divide your ice-cream base into three bowls to start your different flavors.
Fruity Pebble Rice Krispie Treat Icecream
A few days ago I made some fruity pebble rice krispie treats and thought, would this not make the perfect ice-cream!? It's all I ever dreamed of, and more. Here you'll find the recipe for fruity pebble rice krispie treats (here). Now once you've made the rice krispie treats, break into peices and add to your ice-cream base.
S'mores Icecream
For this flavor I swirled in a spoonful of warmed peanut butter and milk chocolate chips. I took a handful of marshmallows to add the final touch.
Chocolate Raspberry Swirl
This flavor is so refreshing! A little handful of mini chocolate chips, crushed raspberries and a drop of vanilla extract!
Use these containers, (here) to freeze your ice-cream. Freeze your ice-cream for at least 24 hours before taking it out of the freezer. Place your ice-cream in pretty bowls, add sprinkles, whip cream and a cherry on top!
I used a ceramic egg holder to create my own ice-cream "flight"! This way everyone can share and try all the flavors!
