Acai Bowl


You'll need:
-Acai Smoothie packs (I bought this value pack at wegmans)
- 1/4 cupAlmond Milk 
-Bowl 
-Handful of Strawberries
-2 Bananas 
- 3/4 cup Granola 
-1/4 cup Almond slivers
-3 teaspoons Chia seeds 
-Blender 


Add your smoothie pack, one banana and about 1/4 cup of almond milk. 


Pour your acai smoothie into an oversized bowl and add 3 teaspoons of chia seeds. 


Add your granola, strawberries, second banana and almond slivers! 




I don't always eat healthy but when I do, I do it right. If you've never heard of an acai bowl, it's ok..it's a new healthy trend I found while I was in California. The acai berry comes from the fruit of a acai palm tree in the Amazon of Brazil. The berries have all kinds of healthy antioxidants, amino acids and essential fatty acids that are body needs on a daily basis. The acai bowl is basically just the acai berries mixed with all kinds of healthy snacks mixed in. I have also seen people mix in coconut flakes, mango chunks, blueberries, blackberries and raspberries, it's totally your personal preference. I promise this acai bowl is delicious and will give you a boost for your mornings or a nice treat at night!
