Day 7: Peppermint Bark

You'll need: 
-Semi-Sweet/milk/dark chocolate morsels 
-White chocolate morsels
-micro-wavable safe bowl 
-6 candy canes 
-mallot (or anything you have to smash the candy canes)
-a baking pan 
-piece of wax paper 

Lay out your piece of wax paper onto a cooking pan...
this will prevent the chocolate from sticking to the bottom of the pan. 

Use whatever you have lying around the house to smash the candy canes into tiny pieces.

Depending on the power of your microwave you may want to adjust this step...for me, I microwaved the chocolate for a minute, took it out, stirred it a little and stuck it back in for another 30 seconds. 

Once you have the semi-sweet chocolate spread onto the wax paper, stick the pan in the fridge for about 40 minutes before putting the white chocolate on top.

40 minutes up? Time for the white chocolate..repeat the same step as we did for the semi-sweet chocolate. 

It should look something like the picture to the left! 
Now before it melts, sprinkle the candy cane powder onto the white chocolate and stick it back in the fridge until your ready to enjoy it!
