DIY: Sock Bun

Hello chic hair-do, goodbye bad hair day!!! The sock bun has never failed me, whether it be running Saturday errands after a late friday night or a early monday morning rush, my bun keeps me looking glam, day in and day out. The key secret for pulling this look off is to not let your sock show!! Make sure you hairspray, gel or bobby pin all sides of your bun if you need to. The last thing you want is for someone to ask, "is that a sock in your hair"? Yikes, embarrassing. This hair-do can honestly go with anything, dressed up or dressed down. On the causal days I like to tease my hair at the top before I put the sock in, it gives my bun some extra volume. On the days that I like to get dressed up, or at nights, I will pull the bun tight and hairspray the top of my head to smooth the frizz down. It's also fun to add a flower next to the bun or to wear an embellished headband. Have fun with this look, I think you will all enjoy it as much as I do!
